Please read over the course outline carefully. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Please have your son/daughter return the sheet to the next class period.
Ø Please remember you are enrolled in a course REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION, which also fulfills an A-G college entrance requirement. You are to keep up with your daily reading, note-taking, assignments and studying of the material, DO NOT GET BEHIND. You must work hard and keep up!
Ø This course has performance and behavior expectations that will, if you meet them, help you be successful both now and later in life. Do your best on a daily basis and focus on improving (1) your understanding of the world through history; (2) your ability to consistently perform at your maximum level; and (3) grow as a person. Be the best YOU are capable of becoming.
Ø I am here on time, ready to work every day. You are expected to attend class daily, be ready to work each day and work at learning the entire class period. If you do so you will grow, improve and maximize your learning, which is highly beneficial for you and me both. If there is an attendance / tardy problem, school policy will be followed.
