Date / Assignment Description / Due Date
Welcome to AP Human Geography! This where you will find a list of the assignments you are to complete this semester. We will be learning "the WHAT and WHY of WHERE" as we explore human issues and how they relate to geographic concepts such as spatial organization - or how humans interact with and impact the spaces in which they live. Once we have a basic grasp of the nature of geography as a social science we will explore its interaction with population, migration, culture, politics, agriculture and land use, economic development and urban centers. We will be DOING much to understand these connections throughout the year, developing your base of knowledge, and your analysis, research, and communication skills along the way.
